Los Angeles, Dec 5 (NationPress) English actor George Clooney feels that while his children still appreciate him, their admiration is starting to fade as they grow up. His daughter has begun to roll her eyes at him, signaling a shift in their relationship.
During his appearance on the New Heights podcast, the 64-year-old star, who shares eight-year-old twins Alexander and Ella with his wife Amal, mentioned to hosts Travis and Jason Kelce: "I have eight-year-olds who still think I'm cool, but that will change, right?"
Jason joked, "The teenage years are approaching." Clooney acknowledged: "It’s coming, man. Even now, my daughter is rolling her eyes when I mention being a big star, which is a new development."
Having married Amal in 2014, he humorously noted that arguing with her is futile, stating, "Neither of us will win, so why bother? I'm 64—what's the point of arguing?"
He praised his wife, saying, "I found this amazing woman who embodies beauty, intelligence, and stands for the values I cherish. Why would I fight?"
Additionally, Clooney expressed gratitude for raising his children on a farm in France, away from the public eye. He shared with Esquire magazine: "We live on a farm, and while I disliked it as a kid, it’s great for them. They aren't glued to iPads and enjoy family dinners. They lead a much healthier life."
He reflected on his concerns about raising his kids in L.A., fearing they wouldn’t experience life fairly. In France, he feels they can grow up free from the pressures of fame and the scrutiny of paparazzi.
