Govinda Celebrates His 61st Birthday by Meeting Fans and Sharing Sweets

Mumbai, Dec 21 (NationPress) Bollywood star Govinda, who celebrated his 61st birthday on Saturday, emerged from his home to warmly greet fans and the media.
The 'Hero No. 1' star was spotted distributing sweets to his admirers. Clad in a white kurta-pyjama, he welcomed the gathered fans outside his residence and engaged in friendly conversations with them. A video that circulated online shows Govinda shaking hands with fans near the gate of his home, while also waving at them.
On this special occasion, the 'Coolie No. 1' star received touching birthday wishes from his friends in the industry. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who has collaborated with Govinda, shared a heartfelt birthday message along with a cherished photograph of the pair.
In his Instagram post, he conveyed, "Wishing my 1st Hero, @govinda_herono1, a very Happy Birthday! May your birthday be full of love, laughter, and endless blessings. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness and great health. Love, #SajidNadiadwala."
Meanwhile, Shilpa Shetty took to her Instagram Stories to post a lovely photo featuring Govinda. The image, captured during an event they both attended, showcased the duo dancing and enjoying the moment. She added a "Happy Birthday" sticker and wrote, "To everyone’s forever HERO #Not @govinda_herono1 Wishing you love, happiness, and great health alwaysssss."
In October, Govinda faced an unfortunate incident when he was rushed to a Mumbai hospital after accidentally injuring himself in the leg. This incident reportedly occurred early in the morning, between 4:45 and 5:00 AM, as he was preparing for a trip to Kolkata while alone at his residence.
After his discharge, Govinda spoke to the media about the incident, explaining, "I was getting ready to leave for a show in Kolkata. It was around 4:45-5:00 AM when the revolver fell and misfired. I felt a jhatka (shock) and then noticed… there was a fountain (of blood)."
On the professional front, Govinda is renowned for his performances in films such as “Shola Aur Shabnam,” “Coolie No. 1,” “Hero No. 1,” “Saajan Chale Sasural,” “Dulhe Raja,” and “Haseena Maan Jaayegi.”
