Mumbai, Nov 12 (NationPress) Renowned Bollywood actor Govinda was swiftly transported to CritiCare Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai, after he reportedly fainted at his home during the early hours of the day.

The 61-year-old celebrity is presently under strict medical observation, as healthcare professionals monitor his health closely. Lalit Bindal, a close friend and legal advisor to Govinda, confirmed the situation to IANS, noting that the actor initially received treatment via a phone consultation but was later taken to the hospital around 1 a.m. for immediate care.

Lalit further disclosed that the veteran star lost consciousness at his residence, necessitating his hospitalization. Govinda is currently under careful surveillance.

Remarkably, this incident follows closely after Govinda's visit to fellow actor Dharmendra, who is recuperating at Breach Candy Hospital. A video circulating online shows the 'Raja Babu' actor leaving the hospital with a pensive demeanor.

This hospitalization marks the second occasion in a year that Govinda has required medical attention. In October of the previous year, he was admitted to the same hospital due to an accidental leg injury involving a licensed revolver. The ‘Hero No 1’ actor sustained a wound below his knee and underwent an hour-long surgical procedure in the ICU to safely extract the bullet. Reports indicate that he was preparing for a trip to Kolkata when the mishap occurred while he was placing the revolver back in its case. He was discharged three days later and greeted fans and media with folded hands upon his exit.

In a statement to the press, Govinda recounted, “I was on the verge of departing for a show in Kolkata. It was around 5 in the morning. Aur uss time par vo giri aur chal padi (and it just fell and went off). I was taken aback by the incident, and when I glanced down, I noticed a fountain of blood. I then recorded a video, consulted with the doctor, and got admitted.”
