Bengaluru, Oct 13 (NationPress) H.D. Deve Gowda, the former Prime Minister and current JD(S) Rajya Sabha member, was officially released from the hospital in Bengaluru after successfully recovering from an illness.
He spent eight days receiving treatment for a fever and a urinary infection.
Upon his discharge, Deve Gowda returned to his home in Padmanabhanagar, Bengaluru. According to hospital sources, he has been advised to rest for a period of 10 to 15 days and to avoid crowded places.
Deve Gowda was admitted to Manipal Hospital located on Old Airport Road due to a decline in his health.
He was taken to the hospital Monday night after presenting symptoms such as chills, fever, and a urinary infection. The health bulletin from Manipal Hospital reported, "The Honourable Prime Minister Deve Gowda has been hospitalized due to an infection.
