Mumbai, Dec 29 (NationPress) As the year draws to a close, actor Gulshan Devaiah is not planning any extravagant celebrations or jam-packed schedules. Instead, he is opting for a more tranquil approach that includes delicious meals, extended naps, and tackling decisions he has postponed.
In a conversation with IANS about his New Year’s plans, he shared: “I’m looking forward to some peaceful moments on my own—preparing a tasty dish, enjoying long naps, revisiting scripts I’ve set aside, and finally making a few minor decisions I’ve delayed.”
Gulshan is excited about his debut Telugu film alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu, titled Maa Inti Bangaram. He expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I’ve always wished to work with Samantha, and this project came at the perfect time.”
He further remarked: “I’m fully engaged in readying myself for my role in MIB. While I can't disclose much about the film or my character right now, I can say it’s a challenging role, and I’m doing everything I can to meet the expectations and hopefully excel.”
Gulshan is recognized for his performances in films like Shaitan, Hate Story, and Hunterrr. He has also appeared in web series including Afsos, Duranga, Dahaad, Guns & Gulaabs, and Bad Cop.
His latest endeavor is the series The Perfect Family, directed by Sachin Pathak, featuring actors such as Manoj Pahwa, Seema Pahwa, Girija Oak, and Neha Dhupia. This series premiered on November 27 on the Jar Series YouTube channel.
Produced by Ajay Rai of Jhaar Pictures, with Mohit Chhabra and Pankaj Tripathi as first-time producers, the show humorously tackles the stigma surrounding therapy in India, focusing on a not-so-perfect family that must attend therapy due to a situation involving their young daughter and the ensuing chaos.
