Los Angeles, Nov 6 (NationPress) Actress Hailee Steinfeld, who gained widespread recognition with the western film True Grit in 2010, shares that every new role she takes on feels "scary" to her.
The star revealed to Bustle: "I love that every time I step onto a set for the first time or during the initial days, I feel like I have no clue what I’m doing. It feels fresh and frightening.
"There are occasions when I’m rolling in mud or covered in fake blood and dirt with fangs in my mouth. And that’s part of the job. I wake up at some unearthly hour and realize that I haven’t slept enough. But the moment I arrive, my adrenaline kicks in, the magic envelops me, and you're right there in it. It’s incredible."
Steinfeld has achieved considerable success as both a singer and actress, cherishing her journey over the past 15 years, as reported by femalefirst.co.uk.
When asked what advice she would give to her younger self at 13, Steinfeld responded: "Wow, I feel like I could take advice from that little dynamo.
"I would say you have no idea what’s coming your way, but just hang tight. It sounds cliche, but be unapologetically yourself. It’s much easier said than done, and a 13-year-old wouldn’t even grasp how to do that. Just embrace who you are, love what you do, and pursue it for the joy it brings, not for any other motive."
Earlier this year, Steinfeld starred alongside Michael B. Jordan in Sinners, where the 38-year-old actor praised his co-star.
Michael shared with WhoWhatWear: "Hailee's portrayal in Sinners is extremely versatile and genuinely enjoyable. I believe it will captivate audiences and allow them to see her in a light they haven't encountered before.
"As you know, growing up in this industry, people witness your journey, and they form perceptions about who you are and your capabilities. I think this role will reveal a new facet of Hailee."
