Los Angeles, Oct 9 (NationPress) Hollywood actress-singer Halle Bailey is gearing up to delight her fans with a new venture. The talented artist is set to unveil her debut solo album later this month. The 25-year-old actress-singer has officially announced the release of her first record as a solo performer.
She gained recognition as one half of the duo Chloe x Halle, alongside her sister Chloe Bailey, according to reports from ‘Female First UK’.
Recently, she confirmed that her album ‘Love? Or Something Like It’ will launch on October 24. Taking to Instagram, she expressed, “Love? or something like it, my debut album. A tale of first love, heartbreak, and everything that follows. out 10/24. this one means everything to me. (sic)”.
As noted by ‘Female First UK’, in a video shared with her fans, the singer can be seen in a stunning red tulle dress, sharing the beginning of her narrative.
She stated, “Once upon a time, there was a young girl who believed in love. She thought everyone was meant for someone, soul for soul. All she ever desired was to find the purest form of love. Was it ever achievable? And here’s what unfolded.”
Earlier this year, Halle released singles Braveface and Back and Forth, along with a collaboration with Leon Thomas on Rather Be Alone, featured on the deluxe edition of his Mutt LP. Together with her sister Chloe, she released The Kids Are Alright in 2018, followed by Ungodly Hour two years later. Her sister has launched two solo albums to date - 2023's In Pieces and the subsequent Trouble In Paradise. However, Halle emphasized that they are not finished creating music as a duo.
As Chloe prepared to release her debut LP, she shared with Popsugar, “My sister and I are incredibly excited about working on our new album together, while also allowing these wonderful solo projects to debut for both of us.”
