Mumbai, April 19 (NationPress) Actor Harshvardhan Rane recently provided an update on his rigorous transformation process for the much-anticipated film "Force 3" via social media. The actor, committed to a weight gain regimen for this action-packed movie, disclosed that he needs to gain an additional 3 kgs to achieve his target weight.
He shared a video on the Stories section of his official Instagram account, showcasing himself during a demanding workout session.
The video included a caption stating, "Need to gain 3 more kg for #Force3!" and tagged @rohityson, adding, "This is tough, Sir!" (sic).
Earlier in March, Harshvardhan revealed in another social media post that he was undergoing this weight gain journey specifically for an action sequence planned for "Force 3".
He mentioned that during the filming of "Sanam Teri Kasam" and "Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat", he weighed 81 kg. Now, he has been advised to reach 92 kg for his upcoming role.
"I was 81 kg during STK and Deewaniyat; for #Force3, I was instructed to be around 92 kg, and I've reached 90 kg as of today. Just 2 more kg to go for the upcoming action scenes next month, as required by the role's physical demands." (sic), he noted in his caption.
The production team began shooting the Gujarat segment of "Force 3" with a pooja ceremony in March.
In an update on social media, Harshvardhan posted a video of himself paying homage before the start of filming.
"May the #FORCE 3 be with us (Trishul emoji) Directed by @bhav.dhulia.. Written by @simaabhashmi, 1st schedule in #Gujrat," he captioned the post.
Alongside "Force 3", Harshvardhan will also star as the lead in director Omung Kumar's film "Silaa".
