Chennai, Dec 3 (NationPress) The producers of the intense drama 'Lockdown', directed by A R Jeeva and starring Anupama Parameswaran, have officially announced a delay in the film's release due to the relentless rainfall that has been affecting Chennai and various regions of Tamil Nadu.
For over a week, Tamil Nadu, particularly Chennai, has been experiencing continuous rain, resulting from a deep depression linked to the remnants of cyclone Ditwah, which caused devastation in neighboring Sri Lanka.
On their X timeline, Lyca Productions, the film's production company, stated, "Given the ongoing rains, the premiere of #Lockdown has been postponed. Your safety is our priority. We’ll see you in theatres soon. #LockdownInCinemasSoon."
Additionally, they released a formal statement saying, "Due to the heavy rains and unfavorable weather, we are rescheduling the release of #Lockdown. We are committed to ensuring the safety of our audience and theatre personnel. Please take care of yourselves.
