Lata Mangeshkar graced numerous songs in Hema Malini’s films, crafting unforgettable musical experiences. Last year, Hema expressed her sorrow on social media following the passing of Lata Mangeshkar. This is a personal loss as our mutual affection and admiration were profound.”

Lata Mangeshkar left us on February 6, 2022, due to multiple organ failure. At the age of 92, she had been hospitalized since January 8 after being diagnosed with pneumonia and Covid-19.

Born on September 28, 1929, in Indore, Lata Mangeshkar enjoyed a remarkable career that spanned over eight decades, lending her voice to more than 2,000 films across diverse Indian languages.
