Los Angeles, Nov 13 (NationPress) Hilaria Baldwin, spouse of Hollywood star Alec Baldwin, opened up about the significant age difference in their marriage and how it shapes their relationship.

The multifaceted 41-year-old appeared on the 'Uncut and Uncensored with Caroline Stanbury' podcast, discussing the 26-year age gap with her 67-year-old husband, whom she wed in 2012, as reported by People magazine.

She shared, "I don't see age as merely a number, especially in our case. There are times when I must recognize that he possesses 26 additional years of life experience. Sometimes, that can be an advantage, but it also means we might benefit from some therapy at times."

Delving deeper into their age disparity, the season 34 Dancing with the Stars contestant noted that one significant lesson she has learned is that you "can't satisfy everyone".

"That’s a profound lesson for me," Hilaria remarked, emphasizing the importance of understanding "what you desire" by your 40s.

"That realization is a wonderful aspect of any relationship; knowing what you want brings a confidence that is incredibly attractive and reassuring. In contrast, the emotional rollercoaster and insecurities we often face when we’re younger stem from a lack of self-understanding," she elaborated.

According to People, Hilaria and Alec are parents to seven children: daughters Carmen Gabriela, 12, María Lucía Victoria, 4, and Ilaria Catalina Irena, 2, along with four sons: Rafael Thomas, 10, Leonardo Ángel Charles, 9, Romeo Alejandro David, 7, and Eduardo "Edu" Pao Lucas, 5.

"I believe that this wisdom is a unique gift that only comes with age," she added.

Alec also has a daughter, Ireland Baldwin, 30, from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger.
