Mumbai, Oct 17 (NationPress) A deeply emotional scene unfolded during the reality show Pati Patni Aur Panga as contestants Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla faced a challenging task: convincing an audience member to cut their hair short. What started as a straightforward challenge transformed into a heartfelt tribute to those battling cancer. An audience member, later identified as makeup artist Sushmita from actress Rupali Ganguly's team, volunteered to participate. She allowed Rubina to cut her long hair to shoulder length, expressing her desire to donate it to cancer patients.

The audience and contestants alike erupted in applause, with Rubina commending Sushmita for her bravery and kindness. The powerful moment brought tears to the eyes of Hina Khan and Sonali Bendre, both of whom have faced the grim realities of cancer firsthand. Sonali, a cancer survivor, reflected on her own experience and the emotional struggle of losing her hair during chemotherapy.

Hina, currently undergoing her own battle with cancer, poignantly articulated the significance of losing hair. Holding the freshly cut locks, she shared, “Nobody understands the value of these cut hairs more than cancer patients. I currently wear a wig made from donated hair, and I am incredibly thankful for their generosity.” Sonali stood beside Hina, visibly touched, acknowledging the tremendous strength needed to remain positive in such trying times.

As the segment concluded, Hina and Sonali embraced, shedding tears and reminiscing about their challenging journeys. The show is hosted by Sonali Bendre and Munnawar Farooqui.

Other participants include Swara Bhaskar, Fawad Ahmad, Debina Bonerjee, Gurmeet Choudhary, Sudesh Lahiri and his wife, along with Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla.
