Hrithik Roshan Suggests Alien Hangout to Ryan Gosling
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, March 24 (NationPress) Bollywood icon Hrithik Roshan, known for his role in ‘War 2’, recently had an engaging conversation with Hollywood star Ryan Gosling. He suggested to Gosling the fun idea of spending time with the alien characters Rocky and Jaadu.
This interaction occurred during the promotional activities for Gosling's forthcoming film Project Hail Mary, which is a cinematic adaptation of the acclaimed novel by Andy Weir.
During their chat, Hrithik expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “You have Rocky and I have Jaadu. It would be fun to hang out at Churchgate in Bandra. By the way, I just met Rocky and even shared some of our cultural nuances with him. On behalf of your Indian fans, namaste, and we eagerly await your film. Thank you! I heard you’ve read the book, and I must say, it’s phenomenal.”
He elaborated, “I read the book before watching the trailer, and I was so impressed that I posted on Instagram calling it the best sci-fi book I’ve ever encountered. The film has to match that incredible standard—no pressure! I genuinely think you portray your character exceptionally well.”
Hrithik then highlighted a particular moment from Project Hail Mary that resonated with him. He stated, “There’s a scene where you are compelled to go to space against your wishes, and it mentions the character tearing up. I found myself reflecting on how I would portray that emotion as an actor—should I cry or suppress it? What’s the ideal balance? Did you have any thoughts on approaching that scene?”
To this, Ryan replied, “Interestingly, that was one of the last scenes we shot. The film took five years to complete, and I spent nearly a hundred days filming alone. It was one of the most challenging projects I've ever undertaken, taking a significant toll on me. In that scene, I was already emotionally drained, and acting opposite Sandra Huler, who is an extraordinary talent, made it even more impactful. Her performance was so genuine that I didn’t need to force my own emotions.”
