Mumbai, Feb 26 (NationPress) Actor Hritik Yadav, known for his roles in shows like Naagin 6, Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein 2, and Dhartiputra Nandini, expressed his disappointment over the cancellation of his show Apollena—Sapno Ki Unchi Udann.

Hritik disclosed that although he anticipated the show might end in May, the announcement to terminate it in March took him by surprise.

He stated, “The show is concluding much sooner than we expected. We thought it might last until May, especially considering our TRP and the favorable 6 PM time slot. While we didn’t aim for high ratings, we certainly didn’t expect it to finish this abruptly.”

He further remarked, “The abrupt decision to conclude the series was unforeseen, impacting not just the cast and crew but also the audience.”

Hritik emphasized that the show warranted additional time, saying, “We believed that with a bit more time, we could have elevated our performances. I genuinely feel that had the show continued a little longer, more storylines could have been developed around my character, Neel, and his family. It felt like just the start; Neel's journey had only begun before everything ended so suddenly. Thus, we didn’t truly have enough opportunity to explore these narratives.”

The actor shared that despite the short duration of his role, he had an enriching experience, stating, “I learned a lot during my time on the show. It was a new challenge, particularly with my character being a singer. The singing aspect was demanding, involving learning performances, playing instruments, and so forth. But overall, my time spent on the show was very fulfilling, regardless of its length; it was truly worthwhile.”
