Mumbai, Jan 20 (NationPress) Celebrating the ninth anniversary of his Konkani-language film ‘Soul Curry’, veteran Bollywood icon Jackie Shroff reflects on its impact since its release in 2017.
Jackie shared a series of memorable moments from the film on his Instagram stories, which was helmed by Nieelesh Malkar.
The film features Seema Biswas and Sonam Morajkar in pivotal roles and has garnered numerous accolades in Goa, where Jackie also received an individual award for his performance.

The narrative revolves around Philip, a once-celebrated saxophonist whose stubbornness and unwillingness to evolve lead to professional struggles. Married to Mary, a talented singer who sacrificed her aspirations for love, Philip's dissatisfaction with having four daughters drives him to distance himself from his family.
His life takes a turn when childhood friend Michael offers him a bookkeeping job, and he takes in aspiring guitarist Henry as a tenant. The plot thickens with the arrival of Angelica, a hopeful singer competing for the Kingfisher Voice of Goa title, who becomes a paying guest.
