Mumbai, Sep 24 (NationPress) Actor and producer Jackky Bhagnani marked World Bollywood Day by reminiscing about his past experiences in the film industry.

He fondly remembered his cameo in the iconic romantic film “Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein,” offering a lighthearted commentary on his early career and the trends he was unaware of at the time. Jackky humorously confessed that during his cameo alongside Dia Mirza, he had not yet recognized the industry's obsession with physical appearance, particularly features like a chiseled jawline, which are often seen as essential for glamour in movies.

While sharing posters from classic films, the Youngistaan actor remarked, “Before I discovered the camera, I was already enamored with cinema. My father narrated stories that resonated with millions, and I absorbed every bit of it. A throwback to my cameo in Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein, where I was also working as an Assistant Director! His post featured posters from legendary films such as “Coolie No. 1,” “Hero No. 1,” “Shaadi, Biwi No. 1,” “Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya,” “Om Jai Jagadish,” “F.A.L.T.U,” and “Youngistaan,” among others. Jackky also shared a nostalgic image from “Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein,” where he appears with a round face in a scene with Dia Mirza.

Directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, “Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein” starred R. Madhavan, Saif Ali Khan, and Dia Mirza in the leading roles. Jackky's cameo was as the bouquet deliveryman for Dia's character, Reena.

On the professional front, Jackky Bhagnani made his action film debut with “Kal Kissne Dekha.” He ventured into film production in 2016 with “Sarbjit,” partnering with his sister Deepshikha Deshmukh. Since then, he has produced a series of successful films, including “Dil Juunglee,” “Welcome to New York,” “Ganapath,” “Mission Raniganj,” “Bell Bottom,” and “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.”
