Jackky Bhagnani Discusses the Impact of Social Media on Perception

Mumbai, Nov 28 (NationPress) Actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani, who has collaborated with his father Vashu Bhagnani, has expressed his views on the topic of perception in the era of social media. He mentioned that over time, social media tends to transform perception into reality.
Jackky also addressed the contrasting work cultures between generations and how they have evolved.
In relation to this, Jackky Bhagnani stated, "It's a combination of numerous factors. I have the chance to experience both perspectives. The first thing is that nothing can substitute for hard work. Being in the right place at the right time does involve a degree of luck. For instance, you may have produced a remarkable film, but if a film of the same genre hits the screens two weeks prior and becomes a blockbuster, it can overshadow your release.”
He further elaborated, “Therefore, the audience might not have the time or inclination for it. Additionally, perception plays an essential role in today's social media landscape. Perception becomes a reality. I believe it’s the amalgamation of all these elements that creates the distinction.”
Moreover, he shared thoughts on why movies sometimes struggle to perform as anticipated, saying, "If an actor is popular, their demand skyrockets. Whether it's a male or female actor, it's understood that their schedules will be booked. I’m sure directors appreciate this. This trend has always existed. Overall, I feel there’s uncertainty surrounding the dynamics.”
“You can’t guarantee that casting a specific actor will ensure primary recovery as it once did. Today, that's no longer the case,” he added.
On a different note, regarding his professional endeavors, Jackky Bhagnani recently announced the theatrical re-release of 'Biwi No.1'. Unveiling the trailer for the beloved comedy, he confirmed that the film will hit theaters again on December 29, 2024. Additionally, he has 'Ashwatthama: The Saga Continues' in the works, featuring Shahid Kapoor in the lead role.
