Los Angeles, March 19 (NationPress) Renowned actress Jane Fonda is set to lead a fresh film adaptation of ‘The Correspondent’. In addition to her starring role, the two-time Oscar winner, who is 88 years old, will also take on producing responsibilities after Lionsgate secured the project amid a competitive bidding war. This film will be based on the bestselling novel by Virginia Evans, with Cat Vasko tasked with adapting the screenplay and serving as an executive producer.

Alongside Jane, Todd Lieberman from Hidden Pictures will join as a producer. The storyline revolves around Sybil Van Antwerp, a retired lawyer who expresses herself through letters, confronting unresolved grief when she receives an unexpected message from her past, as reported by Female First UK.
