Mumbai, Nov 25 (NationPress) The passing of superstar Dharmendra has plunged the nation into sorrow, particularly impacting the Bollywood community. Fans and followers expressed their profound grief following the loss of their beloved icon on November 24.
On November 25, numerous Bollywood luminaries gathered at the Deol family home to extend their heartfelt condolences during this difficult time.
In the evening of the same day, veteran actor and long-time friend of Dharmendra, Jeetendra, was seen arriving at the Deol residence. The actor, now in his late 80s, appeared to make his way slowly to comfort the bereaved family, who were visibly distressed.
Jeetendra and Dharmendra collaborated on several films, including The Burning Train, Dharam Veer, Dharma Karma, Kinara, and many others. That evening, Hrithik Roshan and his father, Rakesh Roshan, also paid their respects to the grieving family.
Rakesh Roshan had previously worked alongside Dharmendra in the 1983 film Teesri Aankh, which also featured Shatrughan Sinha. Actor Varun Dhawan was also seen visiting the family to express his sympathy.
For those who may not know, superstar Dharmendra was set to celebrate his 90th birthday on December 8 this year. He passed away at the age of 89, having been placed on a ventilator weeks prior due to breathing difficulties.
