Kohima, Nov 25 (NationPress) The Nagaland Minister for Tourism and Higher Education, Temjen Imna Along, officially inaugurated the Aerial Experience Rides - Helicopter Service for the much-anticipated Hornbill Festival 2025 at the Lerie Helipad in Kohima on Tuesday, as confirmed by officials.
According to a representative from the Tourism Department, this helicopter service has been launched in collaboration with a private enterprise to enhance the tourism experience during the 10-day iconic Hornbill Festival.
This initiative represents a significant leap towards offering chartered aerial experiences and improving connectivity for visitors coming to the state. The service will provide options for sightseeing around Kohima, stunning aerial views of the picturesque Dzukou Valley, and flights connecting Kohima and Kigwema, along with a unique bird’s-eye view of the Hornbill Festival.
