The duo is actively promoting 'Unstoppable'. This motivational sports drama is generating considerable award season buzz, and during screenings, Robles has been met with enthusiastic standing ovations, as reported by 'Variety'.
Audiences are captivated by the remarkable story of how this single mother successfully raised her son, Anthony, while navigating financial troubles and an abusive relationship.
“I tell her constantly, ‘You need to embrace who you are and what you’ve accomplished’,” JLo shared. “You are inspiring every mother who has faced challenges. You have truly succeeded. You’ve raised a son who has emerged as a leader, and you deserve all the accolades.’ Yet, she remains very modest about it.”
As viewers of 'Unstoppable' are aware, Anthony achieved the remarkable feat of becoming a college wrestling champion, an impressive victory considering he was born with only one leg.
According to 'Variety', Judy was present on the sidelines, unexpectedly realizing the same lesson she aimed to impart to him: anything is achievable with hard work. Following Anthony's graduation, Judy returned to school, earning both a bachelor’s and master’s degree, ultimately becoming an associate athletic director at ASU.
The actress and singer found a connection with her character’s experiences. “We are kindred spirits,” JLo remarked. “We both grew up as Latinas in this country. We both have children and share aspirations for them. We both encountered difficult relationships that left us holding our families together.”

“I was anxious to meet her,” admitted Jharrel Jerome, who portrays Anthony in the film. “Growing up Dominican in the Bronx, she was a significant figure in my household. However, once we began collaborating, that feeling dissipated, and she became an incredible scene partner. She was solely focused on making it right,” he expressed.
