Hyderabad, Feb 28 (NationPress) Renowned Telugu actor Jr NTR unveiled the trailer for director Hussain Sha Kiran’s upcoming suspense thriller, 'Mrithunjay', which stars Sree Vishnu and Reba John in leading roles, much to the excitement of cinema enthusiasts.

Jr NTR shared the trailer on his X timeline, expressing, "Sunny @sunnygunnam has played a significant role in my journey for over 18 years. His knack for discovering exceptional narratives mirrors that of his father, Gunnam Gangaraju garu. I am incredibly proud of him as he embarks on his debut production venture with #Mrithyunjay and its distinctive story."

He further added, "The #MrithyunjayTrailer is filled with intense moments that will leave you wanting more. I wish director Hussain, Sree Vishnu, and the entire team tremendous success on their release set for March 6th."

The newly released trailer begins with Sree Vishnu addressing a child, saying, "My hands are tied with a rope that is knotted. I promise to untie it and answer your questions."

We also witness his character pleading for a position in the crime bureau, only to face rejection, suggesting he may be an aspiring journalist eager to cover criminal stories.

Meanwhile, Eesha Rebba, portraying a police officer, is shown dismissing a victim's death as merely an "unfortunate accident," while Sree Vishnu insists that it is far from an accident.

As the story unfolds, the protagonist is on a quest for a person affected by polio. At one point, Sree Vishnu confides in his aunt, expressing his fears of failure. She reassures him, stating, "Losing is not wrong. But failing to fight due to fear is what truly matters."

Originally slated for release on February 27, the film is now set to premiere on March 6.

On his Instagram, Sree Vishnu announced the change in release date, stating, "Release date marindhi, thrillu kaadhu! (The release date has changed, not the thrill!) Get ready to meet #MrithyuNjay in theaters from March 6th."

Light Box Media, the film's production house, previously shared the film's title teaser on their X account, remarking, "Every clue is vital. Every action involves risk. But in this game, Jay determines when it concludes."

Directed by Hussain Sha Kiran, Mrithunjay has stirred significant interest among fans and film critics alike. The film is produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Vinay Chilakapati, and presented by Ramya Gunnam. The musical score is composed by Kaala Bhairava, with editing by the esteemed Sreekar Prasad. The cinematography is handled by Vidyasagar, and production design is led by Manisha.
