Los Angeles, May 12 (NationPress) Hollywood actor-director Justin Baldoni has made a rare social media appearance amid his ongoing legal disputes with actress Blake Lively, taking the opportunity to honor his wife and mother.
On Mother's Day, the director-actor made a unique public statement, expressing, "My mom instilled faith in us. My wife embodies that faith. Our children are being raised in the stronghold of that love.”
He posted a family snapshot on Instagram this past Sunday (Pacific Standard Time), according to ‘People’ magazine.
"Happy Mother’s Day to everyone,” he added. Baldoni married Emily, an actress, in 2013, and they are the proud parents of two children, Maiya, 9½, and Maxwell, 7. When Emily, aged 40, shared a birthday message for Baldoni in January 2025, she wrote on Instagram, "Happy birthday my love. Celebrating the incredible man, husband, and father that you are. I’d choose you time and again.”
According to ‘People’, during the same period, Baldoni's mother, Sharon, expressed her support for him in a birthday post on Instagram, stating, "Life brings its moments and surprises - as you maintain your integrity through it all, justice and truth will prevail today and eternally. I love you beyond measure! Happy Birthday my beautiful boy! May God continue to bless you in truth.”
In December 2024, Baldoni's co-star in It Ends With Us, Lively, 37, initiated a lawsuit against him and others, accusing them of sexual harassment and retaliation, allegations he firmly denies. Baldoni subsequently countersued Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and others, alleging extortion and defamation.
Lively's legal team described his countersuit as "meritless" and "vengeful.” On January 17, Baldoni, who has been spending time in Hawaii amid the legal turmoil, spoke out after filing his $400 million countersuit, telling TMZ in a video while navigating through an airport that he feels "grateful to be with the family. We are blessed with amazing friends and family. Faith.”
Blake Lively, who has four children with Reynolds, 48, has made numerous public appearances since the initiation of her lawsuit.
