Presented by Zee Studios in association with MIG Production & Studios, the film is set for a worldwide theatrical release on 24 July in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.

'The India Story is a film with a strong social message at its core,' Kajal Aggarwal said in a statement. Shreyas said what drew him to the project was the urgency of its subject. Through his character's journey, he hopes audiences connect with the 'emotional struggle of an ordinary parent fighting against a system much larger than himself.' Director Chettan DK, who wrote the film alongside producer Sagar B. Shinde, described 'The India Story' as a conversation Indian society urgently needs to have. 'Through this story, we wanted to shed light on the alarming reality of pesticide farming and the silent health crisis it creates,' he said. 'Our aim is to create awareness, provoke thought, and encourage audiences to question what ends up on their plates.'
