Mumbai, June 16 (NationPress) Before launching the promotional campaign for her upcoming drama "Maa", Kajol visited the sacred Dakshineswar Kali temple in Kolkata to seek blessings from Maa Kali.
In an exclusive conversation with IANS, Kajol expressed her fondness for the city.
She stated, "I relish the cuisine, and the rhythm of the city is relaxed. It has a certain tranquility that is absent in Mumbai, which is a bustling hub. The moment you set foot in Mumbai, your heart races. Kolkata, however, offers a calmness, both in its environment and among its people, even in traffic."
Beyond the leisurely pace, Kajol also appreciates the warmth of Kolkata's residents.
"They are simply delightful and amazing individuals," she remarked.
Kajol recently praised her husband, Ajay Devgn, for his active role as a producer, backing "Maa" through his production company, Devgn Films.
Calling Ajay an exceptional producer, Kajol shared, "He is a truly outstanding producer, deeply involved in every aspect. From the script to the VFX and music, he has immersed himself fully, ensuring everything runs smoothly, even down to the marketing. So yes, he is an incredible producer."
The film, directed by Vishal Furia, will showcase talents like Ronit Roy, Indraneil Sengupta, Jitin Gulati, Gopal Singh, Surjyasikha Das, Yaaneea Bharadwaj, Roopkatha Chakraborty, and Kherin Sharma in key roles.
