Kamya Panjabi: Draping Sarees as a Personal Expression

Mumbai, Dec 21 (NationPress) During the celebration of World Saree Day on Saturday, actress Kamya Panjabi revealed that adorning the nine-yard marvel has transformed into her distinct form of self-expression.
Kamya shared, “I frequently travel for events across various cities in India, and wherever I go, the attention and compliments I receive for my sarees never go unnoticed.”
World Saree Day is observed annually on December 21 to celebrate the traditional Indian attire.
She mentioned that people admire her saree fashion and the way she styles them.
The actress, currently featured in the show “Ishq Jabariya”, stated: “People appreciate my saree choices, the distinct blouse designs, my draping style, and even the little touches like the pins I use for my hair bun. Their kind words mean a lot to me and motivate me to don sarees more often.”

She finds it remarkable how a saree can evoke memories.

Regarding her role in “Ishq Jabariya”, Kamya portrays Mohini, the aunt of Aditya, played by Lakshay Khurana. The series narrates the touching journey of Gulki, portrayed by Siddhi Sharma, a spirited young woman with grand aspirations who encounters unforeseen obstacles in her quest for love and self-discovery.
