On November 24, he took to his social media to express his heartfelt condolences. Sharing a charming photograph of himself with Dharmendra from the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show, Kapil wrote a touching farewell message.

Kriti, sharing a scene from her film Teri Baaton Mein Uljha Jiya, which also featured Dharmendra, expressed, “It’s the end of an Era! But you’ll stay alive not only in all the incredible work you’ve done, Dharam Ji… but also in the warmth and kindness you carried in your aura. Your smile, your warmth, your zest for life and poetry, the love with which you put a hand on my head and blessed me every time I interacted with you.. I’ll carry it in my heart forever.. Rest in peace, Legend!” accompanied by a folded hands emoticon.

On the afternoon of November 24, megastar Amitabh Bachchan, actor Abhishek Bachchan, and other superstars such as Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, and Deepika Padukone gathered at the Pawan Hans crematorium to pay their final respects.

For those who may not know, Dharmendra passed away on Monday at the age of 89. Earlier in November, he was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai but was discharged after showing signs of recovery.
