Mumbai, June 24 (NationPress) Actor Karan Tacker, preparing to reprise his role as Farooq Ali in “Special Ops 2”, revealed that every character he portrays on screen embodies aspects of his own life experiences, with some aiding in his personal and emotional growth.
When asked how much of Farooq Ali is within him, Karan shared with IANS: “Playing a character requires tapping into your inner truth—your own life experiences. It’s like a gullak (a piggy bank) from which you draw a little for every role.”
He continued: “Farooq has a significant part of me within him, just like every other role I’ve undertaken. You mirror your essence. Only by truly living life can you effectively convey the emotional depth of a character. Hence, I genuinely believe that every character contains a substantial piece of me.”
The talented actor, who first captured attention as Viren in the television series Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, mentioned that certain roles contribute to his evolution as an individual.
“Indeed, some characters allow you to grow as a person while performing—whether on an emotional or intellectual level. The lessons learned from these characters are invaluable,” he stated.
Special Ops, initially released in 2020, is an action-packed espionage thriller directed by Neeraj Pandey. It features Kay Kay Menon as Himmat Singh, an agent from the Research and Analysis Wing, who assembles a team of five operatives to locate the mastermind behind the terror attacks in India.
