Chennai, Jan 30 (NationPress) Director Ganesh K Babu, whose film starring actor Ravi Mohan is named ‘Karate Babu’, states that the film will be a realistic political thriller that reveals an alternate perspective of an MLA.

Notably, Daudee Jiwal, the daughter of Tamil Nadu DGP Shankar Jiwal, takes on the role of the female lead in this production.

Screen Scene Media Entertainment Private Limited, known for producing successful films and the web series 'Mathagam', is collaborating with Ravi Mohan for the third time, following Agilan and Brother.

Discussing the film, director Ganesh K Babu remarked, “While numerous films about politicians exist, their personal lives, connections, and emotions have rarely been explored on screen. This film delves into another side of an MLA, shaping up to be an emotional and authentic political thriller.”

On collaborating with Ravi Mohan, he mentioned, “We are producing the film with great ease and no stress. This is largely due to Mohan Ravi's unwavering support and commitment. I am genuinely pleased to direct this project.”

The initial phase of filming, which commenced recently, is approaching completion. Locations for shooting are varied.

Produced by Sundar Arumugam with a substantial budget, the film will feature a diverse cast that includes director K S Ravikumar, Nasser, VTV Ganesh, Subramaniam Siva, Kavithalaya Krishnan, Pradeep Antony, Raja Rani Pandiyan, Ilan, Sam Anderson, Sri Dhanya, Sandeep Ravi Raj, Ananthi, Sindhu Priya, Ajith Ghosh, Kalki Raja, Knife Naren, Vetri, Aravind, Dharmaraj, Nandhini Senthamizhan, Jeeva Subramaniam, and Manimegala.

Music will be composed by Sam C.S., with cinematography by Ezhil Arasu K. The editing will be managed by Kathiresh Alagesan, and the screenplay is co-written by Rathna Kumar and Bakkiyam Sankar.
