Chennai, April 16 (NationPress) Actor Ravi Mohan has shared a humorous incident related to the crew of his upcoming film, 'Karathey Babu', which is directed by Ganesh K Babu, known for his work in 'Dada'.
During a recent event, Ravi Mohan stated, “You may know me as Jayam Ravi, but I also go by the name Ravi Mohan. My beloved fans and friends have given me the name Jayam Ravi. In a teaser from my film 'Karathey Babu', I mentioned, ‘I stand before you as Ravi Mohan’. Shortly after the teaser was released, I received a call from the esteemed Minister for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments, Sekar Babu.
“The director and I were both contacted. Ganesh Babu was anxious about what the Minister would say regarding the teaser when he met him. The Minister asked, ‘Are you making a film called 'Karathey Babu'?’. The director answered, ‘Yes sir, yes sir!’ The Minister then inquired, ‘Isn’t that character somewhat similar to me?’
“The director quickly responded, ‘No sir, no sir. That character is not connected to you at all, sir. There’s no issue here.’ Ganesh Babu fumbled for words, and then the Minister humorously exclaimed, ‘Brother, I am that ‘Karathey Babu’,’” Ravi Mohan chuckled while expressing gratitude to the Minister for his kindness and well wishes for the film crew.
