Mumbai, Dec 18 (NationPress) Bollywood sensation Kareena Kapoor Khan was spotted indulging in the beloved Indian treat, Samosa (a crispy snack filled with mashed potatoes, green peas, onions, and spices), during her sons' annual day celebration at school.

Filmmaker Karan Johar, a longtime friend of Kareena Kapoor Khan, posted a video on his social media platform showcasing the actress delighting in the tasty snack. In the clip, Karan amusingly remarks that he once believed the actress was adhering to a diet, but now she has been caught in the act of enjoying a samosa.

“This is what Kareena Kapoor is doing at the school play, munching on a samosa,” he quipped. “For all those who think she’s on a diet, look at her – a big samosa in hand!”

Karan humorously dubbed Kareena a ‘Carby Doll’, referencing the carbohydrate content of the savory snack. He expressed, “I’m proud of you, Bebo. I’m proud of you. You’re a carby doll. I love it.” Kareena responded with surprise and clarified that she is not currently on any diet.

The camaraderie between Kareena and Karan spans over two decades, with their children even attending the same school. Both Kareena Kapoor and Karan Johar hail from prominent Bollywood lineage.

Karan Johar’s late father, Yash Johar, was a renowned producer during Bollywood’s golden years, while Kareena comes from the illustrious Kapoor family, with legendary Prithviraj Kapoor as her great-grandfather and Raj Kapoor as her grandfather.

Her parents, Randhir Kapoor and Babita, were also celebrated actors during the 70s and 80s era of Bollywood. Her sister, Karisma Kapoor, gained immense popularity in the 90s, and she is the cousin of superstar Ranbir Kapoor and sister-in-law to Alia Bhatt.

Kareena and Karan's professional collaboration includes the iconic 2001 film “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham”, produced by Yash Johar under the Dharma Productions banner. This film catapulted Kareena to widespread fame.

Her portrayal of Pooja, affectionately known as Poo, a fashionable and sophisticated character, continues to resonate with fans even after 24 years since the film's release.

Alongside Kareena, K3G featured stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Jaya Bachchan.

The film achieved cult status, with memorable dialogues and songs that remain etched in the minds of movie enthusiasts.
