Mumbai, Nov 19 (NationPress) Actress Karishma Tanna shared her journey on social media, discussing her transformative role in the series “Hush Hush.”

She candidly embraced a look devoid of makeup and filters for her character. In her latest post, Karishma emphasized how this role enabled her to move past the allure of glamour and present a more genuine, gritty facet of her artistry. On Wednesday, the ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ star showcased images of her character Geeta, a police officer, from the series. In her caption, the ‘Naagin’ actress reflected on her acting journey and the profound significance of her role in the Amazon Prime series, “Hush Hush.”

She articulated that while glamour is a component of her career, it does not encapsulate her identity. Karishma Tanna stated, “Glamour is a part of what I do…but it’s not all I am. In Hush Hush series on @amazonprime, I ventured into a realm with zero makeup, no filters, no frills — just an authentic character and a director who trusted I could embody her truth.”

“Hush Hush”, crafted by Tanuja Chanda, also features Juhi Chawla, Ayesha Jhulka, Soha Ali Khan, Shahana Goswami, and Kritika Kamra. The show made its debut on Amazon Prime Video on September 22, 2022.
