Mumbai, July 26 (NationPress) Actress Khushi Mukherjee has addressed the ongoing comparisons with Uorfi Javed. In a composed response, she emphasized that she has never imitated her style.
Expanding on her approach, Khushi mentioned that she alters her outfits in various ways to create a distinct look—never with the intention of mimicking someone else.
She stated, “I have never copied actress Uorfi Javed in her style. I cut my clothes anywhere and everywhere to make them look unique. I don’t do it for attention.”
Khushi expressed that her modifications stem from her desire to see something innovative in her clothing.
“I want it to reflect my personality—not anyone else’s. I’ll cut a sleeve, a collar, or even the entire bottom half of a dress if I feel inspired. It’s not an act of rebellion. It’s simply my way of personalizing my wardrobe,” she explained.
While discussing the relentless comparisons and lack of recognition, Khushi pointed out, “Being a woman in the spotlight often leads to being reduced to comparisons—especially regarding style.”
Reflecting on the frequent juxtaposition of her name with Uorfi’s, Khushi remarked, “Uorfi has her own journey. I have mine.”
“Why is it so challenging to believe that two women can express their creativity independently?” she added.
On the professional front, Khushi will soon appear in the reality show “The Society,” which is hosted by comedian and actor Munawar Faruqui.
Sharing her enthusiasm about participating in the show, Khushi expressed to IANS, “It’s an incredibly special feeling. I am thrilled to be part of this show and can’t wait for the audience to see me in a fresh new role. The past few months have shown me both the highs and lows of fame. While some individuals have been my steadfast support, many others have tried to undermine me.”
