Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya is a romantic comedy from 1998, crafted by Sohail Khan. The film features notable performances from Dharmendra, Salman Khan, Kajol, and Arbaaz Khan.
The narrative revolves around Suraj, a young man who falls in love with Muskan, but her overprotective brother immediately disapproves of him. To win her heart, he must first gain the approval of her brother and uncle.
Kiran Kumar has a fascinating background; he attended a boarding school in Indore, pursued studies at R.D. National College in Mumbai, and later joined the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII).
One of his early television roles was with Cinevistas (Sunil Mehta, Prem Kishen). Over the years, he has cemented his status in the Indian television landscape through series such as Zindagi, Ghutan, Sahil, Manzil, Grihasti, and Katha Sagar.
Looking ahead, Salman Khan is set to appear in ‘Battle of Galwan’, a film inspired by the Galwan Valley conflict between India and China that escalated on June 15, 2020, during the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic in India.
The clash in the Galwan Valley, located in eastern Ladakh, was part of a broader border standoff along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). The situation intensified as both sides attempted to patrol disputed territories, resulting in close-quarters combat.
This confrontation led to the deaths of 20 Indian soldiers, with China also incurring losses. This marked the most fatal face-off between India and China in over 40 years, escalating tensions and leading both nations to bolster troop presence and enter diplomatic discussions to prevent further violence.
Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film is scheduled for release on April 17.
