Los Angeles, June 24 (NationPress) Celebrated singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey, renowned for her hit ‘Summertime Sadness’, is marking some thrilling milestones.
The artist recently shared a post on Instagram to commemorate her 40th birthday, which she joyfully celebrated surrounded by family and friends, as reported by ‘People’ magazine.
In her post, she expressed, "Just a couple in-laws and a baby. Thank you for celebrating my birthday with me, cancer queen Phoenix. I still believe I must be 50/50 Gemini, which would clarify the three distinct vibes I constantly exhibit. I am so thrilled to see everyone starting tomorrow on tour and all the fans joining us. Truly, thank you, thank you, love you."
According to ‘People’ magazine, her post showcased a photo of her holding two birthday cakes while dressed in a matching camo outfit.
Beside her is her husband, Jeremy Dufrene, who donned a coordinating camo shirt and shorts. The couple tied the knot in September 2024, shortly after going public with their relationship during model Karen Elson's wedding to Electric Lady Studios owner Lee Foster.
Lana Del Rey is set to perform a limited series of shows this summer across the U.K., with stops in Cardiff, Glasgow, Liverpool, Dublin, and London in late June and early July. Following that, she will perform in Missouri on August 3.
The Grammy-nominated musician unveiled two new country-inspired tracks in April, ‘Henry, Come On’ and ‘Bluebird’.
Additionally, she is working on a new album, initially titled ‘Lasso’ and later renamed to ‘The Right Person Will Stay’. Although it was supposed to launch in May, the release has been postponed.
"I'm really excited for this album to progress. There’s so much more I want to share about it... You do realize it won’t be on time, right? Should I even mention that the title has changed once more?" she remarked in a now-deleted Instagram Reel from April.
In October, she shared with ‘People’ and ‘Entertainment Weekly’ her intention to take her time with the album, stating, "I believe all the songs have been Americana, and I want to wait to sense the musical climate."
“I generally don’t feel the need for a break in the creative process,” she added.
