Mumbai, Oct 17 (NationPress) It has been 26 wonderful years since the iconic 'Dhak Dhak' girl, Madhuri Dixit, has been savoring marital joy with her husband, Dr Shriram Nene.

On their wedding anniversary this Friday, the star of 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun' shared a heartfelt video montage on her official Instagram, showcasing rare glimpses from her wedding celebrations. The montage includes treasured memories of Madhuri and Dr Nene throughout the years.

Feeling grateful for her journey with her partner, she expressed on the platform, "From moments to memories, 26 years of walking through life hand in hand. Happy anniversary (red heart emoji) @drneneofficial. (sic)"

For those unfamiliar, Madhuri and Shriram exchanged vows in a traditional ceremony on October 17, 1999, in Southern California. They welcomed their first child, a son named Arin, in 2003, followed by their second son, Ryan, in 2005.

After their wedding, Madhuri chose to live in the US, embracing the role of a homemaker before returning to Mumbai for her acting comeback.

In honor of their anniversary, Dr Nene shared his reflections on their journey together over the past 26 years.

Delighting fans with glimpses of their shared moments, Dr Nene wrote, "To my love, happy 26th anniversary. Another year has passed, and many more joyful moments are yet to come. On the professional side, Madhuri has been cast as the lead in the eagerly awaited web series "Mrs. Deshpande", where she is set to portray an intense serial killer.

Directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, "Mrs. Deshpande" is an adaptation of a well-known French series.
