Chennai, Nov 23 (NationPress) The creators of the pan-Indian Malayalam movie 'Kattalan', starring Antony Varghese (Pepe) in the lead role, have shared footage of a dramatic stunt where a four-wheeler flipped over during filming. They honored the courageous stunt performers whose bravery allows such thrilling sequences to be captured on screen.

Cube Entertainments, the film's production company, posted a video on social media showing a jeep overturning in a stunt, with the entire crew rushing to rescue the stuntman trapped inside.

They expressed, 'A salute to the unseen HEROES behind the screen!'

The film has sparked significant excitement among fans and cinema enthusiasts. In October, the creators unveiled the first-look poster of Antony Varghese in 'Kattalan', stating, 'Only the wildest will survive. Kattalan - The Hunter | FIRST LOOK. The poster showcased Antony Varghese Pepe's remarkable transformation for the role. His intense gaze, disheveled red hair, and a cigar in his mouth conveyed a raw energy, establishing the film as a gripping mass entertainer. The blood-smeared face and hands further emphasized the film's gritty action nature, presenting Antony in a fierce new persona.

Just a day prior to the poster's release, the production team announced that filming in Thailand had concluded. They had begun this schedule on October 1.

Recently, during an action scene in Thailand, the actor sustained an injury while performing a stunt involving an elephant. The high-octane action sequences were choreographed by Kecha Khamphakdee, a globally recognized action director known for the 'Ong-Bak' series, alongside his talented team. Notably, 'Kaattalan' features Pong, the elephant who gained fame through the 'Ong-Bak' films.

For those unfamiliar, producer Shareef Muhammed of Cube Entertainments, renowned for the blockbuster 'Marco', returns with his next ambitious project 'Kattalan', a high-adrenaline pan-Indian action thriller directed by Paul George.

Antony Varghese (Pepe) and Rajisha Vijayan lead the cast, alongside Rapper Baby Jean, Telugu actor Sunil, celebrated for his roles in hits like 'Pushpa: The Rise' (2021), 'Pushpa 2' (2024), and 'Jailer' (2023), actor Kabir Duhan Singh, known for his impactful performances across various languages, and veteran Malayalam actors Jagadeesh and Siddique in key roles.

The filmmakers also welcomed Parth Tiwari and Anson Paul to the cast, along with promising newcomer Shon Joy, known for his standout performance in his debut film 'Alappuzha Gymkhana' (2025), showcasing a strong screen presence.

The screenplay for the film is crafted by Paul George, Joby Varghese, and Jero Jacob. This dynamic trio is making their writing debut with 'Kattalan'. Reports suggest that they have combined raw storytelling with cinematic vision to create a thrilling narrative filled with power struggles, betrayal, and deadly missions.
