In a recent post on social media, the actress reflected on the adversities and personal growth she has undergone throughout the year. Malaika expressed her resonance with a post declaring that 2024 has marked a period of self-discovery and empowerment, guiding her to rely on her own strength and intuition.
On Monday, Arora took to her Instagram to reshare a note that encapsulated her journey throughout 2024. This came shortly after she addressed her ex, Arjun Kapoor's public remark about being “single.”
The note stated, “I don't harbor animosity towards you, 2024, but you posed numerous challenges, transitions, and lessons. You enlightened me that life can shift in an instant and taught me the importance of self-trust. However, most importantly, you made me realize that my well-being—whether it be physical, emotional, or mental—is what truly counts. There are aspects I still struggle to comprehend, yet I have faith that over time, I will grasp the reasons and meanings behind all that has transpired.”
For those unfamiliar, Malaika Arora confronted two major life events this year: the passing of her father, Anil Arora, and the conclusion of her lengthy relationship with Arjun Kapoor.
On September 11, Malaika's father, Anil Arora, sadly passed away, allegedly by suicide, after leaping from the sixth floor of a residential building in Bandra, Mumbai.
In a public event around Diwali, Arjun Kapoor confirmed the speculations regarding his breakup with long-time partner Malaika by stating, “I am single,” during the promotion of his film.
The couple began their relationship in 2018, a year after Malaika's divorce from Arbaaz Khan. Their romance ended just before Malaika faced the loss of her stepfather. Despite the breakup, Arjun continued to provide support to her during this difficult period.
