Mumbai, Nov 25 (NationPress) Fashion designer Manish Malhotra recently revisited his early memories as a devoted film enthusiast, sharing an evocative tale about his love for cinema.

In a recent episode of Farah Khan’s vlog, he reminisced about the iconic 1981 movie "Naseeb", featuring Amitabh Bachchan. Manish recounted how that cinematic experience ignited his dreams of meeting Bollywood icons and even creating outfits for them. This segment revealed the designer's heartfelt confession about his formative years as an avid admirer of Bollywood. While watching "Naseeb", he envisioned mingling with the stars at glamorous gatherings or designing their attire—dreams that reflected both his passion for films and an emerging interest in fashion.

Manish told Farah, “When I experienced Naseeb, with stars like Amitabh Bachchan and John Jani Janardhan, I was a fervent film aficionado. I distinctly remember thinking that I would eventually meet these actors at parties or create their outfits. Ironically, your song was inspired by one of theirs.”

In response, Farah chimed in, “Manish has accompanied me to meet nearly every leading lady in that film. I made it enticing by saying Manish would create their costumes, and then they could keep them.”

The designer fondly recalled, “I remember our first meeting with Rekha, who was one of the first stars I dressed. I have since developed a deep admiration for her; she has become an obsession of mine.”

In her latest vlog, Farah visited Manish Malhotra’s home in Mumbai, joined by her cook Dilip. Driven by her team’s encouragement to start vlogging, Farah chose Dilip as her co-star and even crafted humorous lines for him to deliver during the segments.
