Actress Manisha Koirala, best known recently for her role in the streaming series 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar', has opened up about a deeply personal spiritual visit to Lumbini and Kapilvastu in Nepal — sharing that the experience made her 'see life a little differently.'

Writing in her own words, she described the day as one that 'felt less like a journey and more like a blessing.' The trip was initiated by someone she referred to as 'Baba', who invited the group to travel together to the two historically and spiritually significant sites.

At the Maya Devi Temple in Lumbini — the birthplace of Siddhartha Gautama, the founder of Buddhism — and at a school near the palace associated with him in Kapilvastu, as well as at a local orphanage, Baba reportedly distributed educational materials, food, and gifts to those present.

Conversations That Made Her Pause and Reflect

Koirala described spending time with Buddhist monks during the visit and was visibly moved by the quiet acts of compassion she witnessed. 'There was something deeply moving about witnessing kindness being given so simply, without noise, without expectation,' she noted.

The actress specifically highlighted the conversations during the journey as the most enduring part of the experience. 'What I will carry with me most are the conversations during the journey. The kind of deep, thoughtful conversations that make you pause, look within and see life a little differently,' she wrote.
