Chennai, Oct 2 (NationPress) Renowned cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa, one of the two directors of photography for Pawan Kalyan's hit film 'They Call Him OG', has shared a heartfelt note of appreciation. He expressed his belief that while he previously regarded Vijay as the most industrious star, Pawan Kalyan has surpassed that standard for their project OG.
In a recent post on his X timeline, Manoj Paramahamsa stated, "It's time for my expression of gratitude for the small role I played in the film #TheyCallHimOG."
He commenced by acknowledging the efforts of all the technicians involved before extending his thanks to lead actor Pawan Kalyan.
He remarked, "Pawan Kalyan sir – after our previous collaboration, working on OG truly felt like witnessing your Viswaroopam. Those 16 days were exhilarating. Non-stop action sequences, poignant scenes, high-energy moments, short business trips, and even signing official documents with one hand while juggling Japanese lines with the other! You rose to every challenge with such grace, showcasing your dedication to the art of cinema."
He further confessed that he had long perceived Tamil actor Vijay as the hardest worker but acknowledged that Pawan Kalyan had gone above and beyond for OG.
He noted, "I always believed Vijay sir was the hardest working star hero, but you have truly gone a step further for OG. Thank you for trusting me once more with your time. Beyond cinema, I deeply admire how you manage your responsibilities towards those who depend on your governance – yet we still yearn to see your Viswaroopam on the screen again."
The cinematographer also praised the film's director Sujeeth, saying, "I always maintain that if a film appears visually stunning, the credit solely belongs to the director. You determine the timing, fight for the budget, and go the extra mile: mock shoots for every scene, stunt visualizations, and meticulous preparations. Any DoP would achieve impressive results with the level of preparation and vision you brought to OG. Hats off to you, Udhay, Bannu, the Unreal Engine previz artist, and the entire assistant director team – outstanding job! As a strong advocate for preparation and previz, I was pleasantly surprised. For this 16-day hero’s schedule, you prepped for over six months, demonstrating your perseverance! This success is truly well-deserved!"
