Chennai, Sep 24 (NationPress) Actor Arjun Das, who plays a significant role in director Sujeeth's action-packed film 'They Call Him OG', shared an emotional note of appreciation on Wednesday. He expressed gratitude to the film's entire team and especially to actor Pawan Kalyan, declaring that he will now refer to the Telugu superstar as his Annaya (elder brother).
In a heartfelt post across his social media platforms, Tamil star Arjun Das shared a lengthy message that spanned three pages.
After acknowledging the director and the film crew, he directed special thanks towards the lead actor, Pawan Kalyan.
In both Telugu and English, he wrote, "Since the beginning of OG, Pawan Sir's fans have repeatedly asked two things - for updates on OG and about his well-being. I assured them he was fine, and they left with smiles. I understand this affection is not directed at me but rather towards anyone linked with Pawan Sir."
Arjun Das reminisced about his first conversation with Pawan Kalyan. "I distinctly remember when you first spoke to me, mentioning you had seen my interviews. I called my parents to tell them that Pawan Kalyan Sir actually knows who I am!"
He noted that their discussions during the shoot totaled around two hours, which he will forever treasure. "I will always remember everything you shared and our conversations. It's clear why you are called the Power Star – your power resides in your heart. Your kindness, generosity, and humility reveal you as an incredibly hard-working individual. You are stylish on-screen, but even more so in real life!", Arjun Das remarked.
He further highlighted that Pawan Kalyan took time to engage with him, despite being busy. "Even when many were waiting, you gave me your complete attention. When your shirt was stained with blood during a shoot, you opted to change just to allow me to take a photo with you. That speaks volumes about your character, sir. When I lent my voice for HHVM, you tweeted about it even though you didn't have to."
Arjun concluded by saying, "I'm sincere in my words, Pawan Sir. There are no favours here; just reach out to me. I'll always be just a call or message away. I genuinely hope we can collaborate again. I will miss our daily hugs on set."
He added, "In any of your future films, whether I provide a voice-over or am merely present in the background, I will gladly participate for you. The only other person I've expressed this to is Lokesh. If you call me, I will be there. For some reason, you feel like family to me. Thank you, Pawan Annaya. With your blessing, I will now refer to you as my elder brother."
