On the professional front, Manushi recently featured in Diljit’s song, "Kufar", part of his new album, "Aura". While the song has been well-received by fans, a specific scene in the video attracted significant criticism from netizens.

Some viewers expressed discomfort over a segment showing a woman’s leg, coinciding with the lyrics ‘jannat ke darwaaze’, labeling it as sleazy and suggestive.

In response, Manushi addressed the matter on her X (formerly Twitter) account, stating, “Not mine #iykyk (face upside down and love hands emoji).” While she did not directly confront the controversy, she encouraged kindness.

“But can we please not disrespect the dancer who was simply doing her job,” Manushi added.

Additionally, during an Instagram Live, Diljit also discussed the issue, saying, "Bruh, mai ta othe khada si... aase paase pata ni ki challi janda si" (Bro, I was just standing there... I didn't even know what was happening around me!).
