Mohit Malik to Unveil His Dark Villainous Persona in Abhishek Kapoor’s 'Azaad'

Mumbai, Dec 19 (NationPress) Renowned television actor Mohit Malik is gearing up to step into the role of an antagonist in Abhishek Kapoor’s film 'Azaad.'

Discussing his upcoming venture, the actor described the action-adventure film as an opportunity that fulfills a lifelong dream. The actor, known for his role in Kulfi Kumar Bajewala, expressed, “This is a dream come true, and I feel privileged to be part of a film like Azaad. I am thrilled to make my big-screen debut with Azaad, directed by the talented Abhishek sir (Kapoor).”

Malik further stated, “Collaborating with him was always on my bucket list. I have admired his work and the incredible films he has produced, such as Kai Po Che and Rock On. It was a remarkable experience to share the screen with such a skilled cast. I am both happy and eager to kick off 2025 with this amazing film.”

Set against the backdrop of the 1920s, 'Azaad' is an action-filled adventure that portrays an era marked by rebellion and bravery. The film is a joint production by RSVP and Guy In The Sky Pictures. It also introduces promising newcomers Aaman Devgan and Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha Thadani, with Ajay Devgn in a significant yet undisclosed role. Additionally, Diana Penty plays a crucial role in the film.

On another note, Mohit Malik is widely recognized for his performances in series such as Doli Armaano Ki, Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala, Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si, and many others. He made his television debut with the show ‘Miilee’ on Star Plus as Aaoni.

In 2022, the actor ventured into the web series arena with “Cyber Vaar – Har Screen Crime Scene” and later demonstrated his adventurous side as the second runner-up in “Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 12.” From 2023 to 2024, he captivated viewers with his portrayal of Kunal Malhotra in Star Plus's popular drama “Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si.”
