Mumbai, Dec 18 (NationPress) Singer Monali Thakur recently found herself in a rather humorous predicament at the Zurich airport when she had to dive into a garbage bin to recover her lost diamond ring.

She took to her Instagram account to share a funny yet relatable story from her trip to Zurich. Monali explained that early in the morning, while attempting to dispose of her trash in a bin, her diamond ring unexpectedly slipped off and fell inside.

With no one around to lend a hand, Monali decided to climb into the bin herself to retrieve her precious ring. She confessed that it was quite a battle, as the bin was heavy and unwieldy, but thanks to some kind strangers, she ultimately succeeded in getting her ring back.

In the video, she can be heard saying, “I’m in Zurich. I was about to throw my garbage in the dustbin at the airport. While tossing my trash, my beautiful diamond ring fell into the garbage. So, I’m going to have to get inside this too since there’s no one around. It’s early morning, around 4 a.m. No one is here. I’m not even sure how to get in. Should I go inside the garbage? I’m going to try to capture this.”

“I can’t even lift it. It’s so heavy. I have no idea what’s in here right now. But whatever. These people helped me get in. I actually went into that bin and retrieved my ring.”

In another recent incident, Monali Thakur made headlines after being hospitalized in Dinhata, Cooch Behar, West Bengal, due to breathing issues during a live performance.

She had to halt her performance midway after feeling unwell. Monali addressed the audience, saying, “I sincerely apologize. I am not feeling well today.”
