New Delhi, Dec 21 (NationPress) The Speaker of the Delhi Assembly and MLA for Rohini, Vijender Gupta, stated on Sunday that the inaugurations are more than just ceremonial; they reflect our dedication to the prompt execution of public services.

During the inauguration and foundation laying for several significant development initiatives in Sector-13 and Sector-8 of Rohini, he reaffirmed his promise to enhance essential civic infrastructure.

In Sector-13, foundation stones were laid for Senior Citizens’ Recreation Centres at Navshakti Apartment, Shanti Apartment, and Surya Apartment. These centres are designed as exclusive community spaces aimed at fostering social engagement, recreation, wellness, and a dignified lifestyle for the elderly.

Additionally, Gupta inaugurated a newly built Gazebo Hut in the park behind Hill Apartment and Kenra Apartment in Sector-13. This gazebo is intended to be a cozy and inviting area for residents, particularly senior citizens and families, to unwind and interact socially within the park.

In a move to bolster civic infrastructure in Sector-8, Gupta laid the foundation stone for two RMC roads in Pocket F-18. This initiative aims to enhance road durability, traffic flow, and commuter safety.

Moreover, the foundation stone was laid for the upgrade of the water pipeline in Pocket B-6, which will improve water supply efficiency and reliability for local inhabitants.

Speaking to residents and members of Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), Gupta remarked, “The development of Rohini extends beyond mere physical infrastructure. It encompasses elevating the quality of life, ensuring convenience, dignity, and well-being for every citizen, whether they are senior citizens, families, or youth.”

He stressed that well-maintained parks, strong road networks, dependable water supply, and dedicated community spaces for the elderly collectively constitute the foundation of a thoughtful and humane urban environment.

Gupta asserted that these inaugurations and foundation stone ceremonies reflect a results-driven governance approach, where strategic planning is followed by visible, actionable results.

He pointed out that launching multiple projects across various sectors in a single day indicates the priority given to timely implementation and coordinated development within the Rohini Assembly Constituency.

Local residents and community members present expressed gratitude for the ongoing development initiatives, recognizing that these projects will yield significant enhancements to everyday life in the area.
