New Delhi, Jan 18 (NationPress) On Sunday, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta officially launched development initiatives worth Rs 100 crore in the R.K. Puram Assembly constituency, aiming to enhance local infrastructure, including roads and community amenities such as open gyms, as reported by an official.

Taking to social media, the Chief Minister declared, "Today, we inaugurated development projects totaling around Rs 100 crore in RK Puram Assembly. For over a decade, challenges have overshadowed Delhi's growth, but in the last 11 months, under the esteemed leadership of Honourable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodiji, the BJP government has revitalized Delhi's development efforts."

Among the projects launched on Sunday were road repairs and construction, renovation of worn-out 'chaupals', upgrades to community centers, beautification of parks, installation of outdoor gym facilities, and construction of boundary walls where necessary.

Present at the event were MP Bansuri Swaraj, MLA Anil Sharma from R.K. Puram, District President Ravindra Chaudhary, Municipal Councillor Dharamveer Singh, and several local dignitaries.

On the previous day, the Chief Minister inaugurated three Ayushman Arogya Mandirs and various development projects in the Shalimar Bagh Assembly constituency, aimed at enhancing public healthcare, nutrition and essential infrastructure.

She inaugurated three new Ayushman Arogya Mandirs located at WP Block, VP Block (Pitampura) and Haiderpur, as stated by an official announcement.

Additionally, an Atal Canteen was opened at Nehru Camp, located near the Haiderpur Badli Mor Metro Station.

The construction of Meenakshi Temple Road in Shalimar Bagh West (BB Block) was also formally initiated, according to the official statement.

While addressing the audience, CM Gupta emphasized that the Ayushman Arogya Mandirs will facilitate access to free and high-quality healthcare near residents' homes.

"These centers will offer doctor consultations, crucial diagnostic services, medications, immunization, and primary treatment facilities, with special provisions for senior citizens, women, and children," she stated.

Moreover, she highlighted that the new Atal Canteen at Badli Mor will provide hot, nutritious meals to those in need for just Rs 5, ensuring food security with dignity.
