Mumbai, Dec 25 (NationPress) Actress Mrunal Thakur is returning home to celebrate Christmas with her loved ones.
In a display of her joy, Mrunal took to her Instagram stories, posting a photo of herself aboard the flight, accompanied by the caption: "Going home finally."
The actress has wrapped up her commitments for the upcoming action-thriller film “Dacoit”, which features Adivi Sesh as her co-star. Mrunal shared this news on her Instagram stories this past Tuesday.
She also posted a black-and-white image of herself in her vanity van while getting her make-up done, captioned: "That's a Schedule wrap !!! #dacoit."
On December 17, it was revealed that Mrunal will be appearing alongside actor Adivi Sesh in the film ‘Dacoit’. This action drama marks the directorial debut of Shaneil Deo, as reported by ‘Variety’.
The film narrates the tale of an enraged convict seeking vengeance against his ex-girlfriend who has deceived him.
This project is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and co-produced by Suniel Narang, and is being filmed in both Hindi and Telugu simultaneously. The director has worked collaboratively with Adivi Sesh on the story and screenplay. Filming is currently ongoing in Hyderabad, with plans for a comprehensive shooting schedule across Maharashtra.
Mrunal expressed that the narrative of ‘Dacoit’ is fundamentally true, presenting a fantastic blend of rustic storytelling enhanced by the stylized perspectives of both Adivi Sesh and Shaneil Deo.
She mentioned: "The character I’m set to portray in the film will enable me to explore facets of acting that I haven’t delved into before. This combination, alongside the genre and script of ‘Dacoit’, will undoubtedly make it a captivating experience for the audience. I am eager to immerse myself in the world envisioned by Shaneil."
Actress Shruti Haasan has withdrawn from “Dacoit”, citing “uncomfortable work conditions” as her reason for departure.
Previously, several reports indicated that Shruti exited “Dacoit” due to a scheduling conflict with another project, “Coolie”. However, a source close to the situation dismissed this claim.
An insider shared, "Shruti Haasan filmed the teaser for the movie last year, but after that, the shooting dates were repeatedly postponed. Certain scenes were re-shot multiple times. The other actor was heavily involved in the script, leading to confusion with two individuals directing the film at times."
"Despite her interest in showcasing a fresh side to her acting and collaborating with the original director, Shruti felt uneasy with the excessive involvement of her co-star, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for her," the source added.
