Mumbai, Nov 28 (NationPress) TV actress Krystle D'Souza and comedian Munawar Faruqui have successfully concluded the filming of their upcoming project, ‘First Copy’, in the beautiful setting of Mauritius.
The pair recently took to social media to share this thrilling news with their fans, signaling the end of the production phase for the series. D'Souza and Faruqui have finished shooting their eagerly awaited web series, with the concluding part of the production taking place in the stunning locale of Mauritius.
A snapshot from the final shooting day has already gone viral online, capturing Munawar, Krystle, and Ashi Singh enjoying a leisurely moment on a boat. The winner of Bigg Boss 17 is making his acting debut with ‘First Copy’. While building excitement among fans regarding his debut web project, the comedian posted a behind-the-scenes image from the set on his social media in August, captioning it, ‘New Journey.’
Reflecting on this experience, Munawar expressed, ‘This journey has been nothing short of incredible. Wrapping up First Copy in Mauritius feels surreal—like the perfect culmination of all the hard work, creativity, and passion poured into this project. In related news, ‘First Copy’, helmed by Farhan P. Zamma and produced by Salt Media and RVCJ, will transport viewers back to the late 1990s, delving into the underground film piracy scene during the DVD era. Munawar portrays a morally ambiguous character navigating this shadowy realm in the series.
The teaser for the series was unveiled during Eid, providing a nostalgic glimpse into the late '90s when DVDs enjoyed their peak popularity.
Meanwhile, Faruqui triumphed in the Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss 17 in 2022, and prior to that, he participated in the show Lock Upp 1.
On the other hand, Krystle is widely recognized for her performances in daily soaps such as ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’, ‘Ek Nayi Pehchaan’, ‘Brahmarakshas’, and ‘Belan Wali Bahu’. She made her web debut with ‘Fittrat’ in 2019 and made her film debut with ‘Chehre’ in 2021.
