Mumbai, Nov 28 (NationPress) Television actress Krystle D'Souza and comedian Munawar Faruqui have successfully completed the filming of their forthcoming project, ‘First Copy,’ in the stunning setting of Mauritius.
The pair recently shared this thrilling news with their followers on social media, signaling the conclusion of the film's production. D'Souza and Faruqui have finished filming for their much-anticipated web series. The final phase of production took place in the beautiful surroundings of Mauritius.
A photograph from the last day of shooting has already become popular online, showcasing Munawar, Krystle, and Ashi Singh enjoying a relaxing moment on a boat. The Bigg Boss 17 winner is making his acting debut in ‘First Copy,’ and while teasing fans about his new venture, the comedian shared a behind-the-scenes image from the set on his social media in August, captioned, ‘New Journey.’
Reflecting on this adventure, Munawar expressed, ‘This journey has been nothing short of incredible. Wrapping up First Copy in Mauritius feels surreal—like the perfect culmination of all the hard work, creativity, and passion poured into this project. In a related note, ‘First Copy,’ helmed by Farhan P. Zamma and produced by Salt Media and RVCJ, will transport viewers back to the late 1990s, diving into the underground film piracy realm during the DVD era. Munawar plays a morally ambiguous character navigating this dark world in the series.
The teaser for the series was unveiled during Eid, providing a nostalgic look into the late '90s when DVDs were booming.
Meanwhile, Faruqui clinched the title of Bigg Boss 17 in 2022 and earlier participated in the show Lock Upp 1.
On the flip side, Krystle is widely recognized for her roles in popular daily soaps such as ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai,’ ‘Ek Nayi Pehchaan,’ ‘Brahmarakshas,’ and ‘Belan Wali Bahu.’ She made her web debut with ‘Fittrat’ in 2019 and her film debut with ‘Chehre’ in 2021.
